On paper, the 250 G8 appears as a budget-friendly laptop with modest hardware. let’s see whether it is worth your money and can uptake the everyday business tasks.

Design & Build

During our HP 250 G8 review, our first impression was of a little disappointment. As we held it in our hands, we saw the same old design with the plastic material. However, HP has followed the previous design approach with less weight and minimum profile. The 15-inch business laptop weighs about 1.74 kg and has a 19.9mm profile. It is a good pick from HP laptops for business users who are short on budget.

Display Quality

The model we have for HP 250 G8 review came with a Full HD TN panel. This is a 15.6-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 142ppi of pixel density. With an average screen brightness of 264 nits, this is a good display for business.

When we tested it, the colours appeared bright enough during our HP 250 G8 review. You will have no issues with the display if you need a laptop for browsing, word processing, or document viewing.

keyboard & Trackpad

For a 15-inch thin business laptop, HP 250 G8 has a good keyboard deck. It has the NumPad on the right while the keys have appropriate space between them. The keys have decent travel and offer decent tactile feedback. So, you can easily use it while sitting on a plane or in a library.

The trackpad did not please us during our HP 250 G8 review. Both tracking and gliding work well but there is nothing much to appreciate here. The dedicated mouse buttons on the lower side are separated with a short travel.

Hardware Selection

The hardware of HP 250 G8 may vary depending on what model you get. There are more than one iterations available on the market with varying specs. You can get it with either Intel or AMD components.

Our model came with the Core i5-1035G1 CPU. This is a 10th generation Intel processor that can deliver clock speed between 1.0GHz and 3.6GHz. It comes with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed which means you will have access to advanced features. The Pro version provides additional security and makes sure that your data remains secure.

Additionally, there is an 8GB RAM that is more than enough for everyday tasks. You will not experience any lags while working on office tasks. The storage on our model was 256 GB SSD which is sufficient. However, you can upgrade the storage later if you think there is no more space to store your business files.

Performance Review

We find the hardware promising during our HP 250 G8 review. This is a great model from HP laptops that meets the needs of business users. Its plastic body may disappoint you, but it can withstand everyday knocks. The presence of a speakers grill above the keyboard gives it a premium touch.

It has an FHD display that delivers quality images with bright colours. The batter on this budget business laptop is 41Wh, which can offer almost 8 hours of productivity. Moreover, the availability of USB ports, an RJ-45 port, and HDMI output connections make it a suitable laptop for business. We found it an ideal choice for everyday users and professionals who have a knack for slick designs.

Conclusion

During our HP 250 G8 review, we found it the best budget business laptop. If you are searching for HP laptops with Intel components, this is the right device for you. You will have a Core i5 laptop with SSD storage, 8GB memory, and a Full HD display.
